학교소개

University of Stirling은 1967년에 영국 스코틀랜드의 중세 도시인 스털링에 설립된 국립 종합대학교로 약 11,000 여명이 재학중인 중간 규모의 대학교 이다.

스털링대학교의 도서관은 30만권의 장서와 4만종류의 전자책, 4만 종류의 잡지들이 소장되어 있어 학생들이 원하고자 하는 자료들을 쉽게 찾을 수 있다.

Airthrey 호수를 중심으로 한쪽은 강의실 건물, 도서관, 식당, 콘서트 홀, 상점, 은행, 우체국 등이 있고, 다른 한쪽은 수십동의 기숙사 건물들이 줄지어 있다.

스털링은 전체 인구 중 학생비율이 1:5를 보이는 학생중심의 도시이며 연중 약 2,000 회 이상 이벤트가 개최되는 젊은 기운이 느껴지는 도시 영국에서 상대적으로 저렴한

생활물가를 보이고 있어 전체 유학비용을 낮출 수 있다는 장점을 가지고 있다.
