서식스 이노베이션 센터(Sussex Innovation Centre)는 약 80개에 달하는 회사들을 지원하고 있으며, 설립 이후로 160여 개 회사들이 이 센터를 기반으로

활동하고 있다. 대학 도서관은 1만 8,000개의 온라인 및 인쇄 학술지, 20~21세기의 문학·정치·사회역사 관련 60건의 주요 서류, 80만 권 이상의 도서를 보유하고 있다.

 

1975년 노벨 화학상을 받은 존 워컵 콘포스(John Warcup Cornforth, 1917년~)와 1996년 노벨 화학상을 수상한 해럴드 W. 크로토(Harold W. Kroto, 1939년~)가 이 대학 교수로 재직했다. 이외에도 13명의 왕립협회 회원, 1명의 크라포드상 (Crafoord Prize: 1980년에 제정된 상으로 생태학과 진화생물학 부문의 노벨상이라고 불린다) 수상자가 이 학교 출신이다

프리마스터란?
한국에서 대학교 졸업자는 영국대학교로 바로 입학이 가능하다.
다만 석사입학요건 충족이 안되거나, 프리마스터 과정을 통해 영국유학에 대한 선행을 하고싶은 분들이 본 프리마스터 과정을 선택한다.
프리마스터과정에서는 아카데믹 영어와 더불어 진학할 석사과정에 따른 전공기초과목을 공부하게 된다.
