런던정경대 LSE, 벨러비스컬리지 파운데이션 통해 지원 가능

런던정경대. 벨러비스컬리지 파운데이션 프로그램으로 진학 가능성 열렸네요.
기존에 런던정경대의 경우 A level, IB 프로그램으로만 어플라이가 가능하게 되었다.
다만 일부 런던대학교 파운데이션과정을 통해 진학은 가능했었지만 오늘 업데이트 된 뉴스로는 LSE가 벨러비스컬리지 파운데이션 프로그램을 인정한다는 내용이다.
2020년 9월부터 벨러비스컬리지 파운데이션과정을 시작하는 학생들 기준으로 아래 프로그램으로 UCAS통해 어플라이 가능하다.
반드시 파운데이션 프로그램에서 Pure math 1,2를 공부해야한다. 일반적으로 LSE지원을 하기 위해서는 평균 75%의 성적과 더불어 pure math에서는 75%이상을 받아야 한다.
또한 LSE 학부 지원시 파운데이션 프로그램을마친 학생은 반드시 학교 자체 시험을 치루어야한다.
Undergraduate Admissions Assessment (UGAA)
본 시험은 3시간정도 소요되며 영어와 수학으로 구성되어 있다.
평가는 3가지 섹션으로 진행된다.
comprehension exercises (Section A); essay questions (Section B); mathematical problems (Section C or D).
진학하려는 학부 프로그램이 수학을 요구하면 test 1, 요구하지 않으면 test 2로 초청을 받게 된다.
본 시험은 매해 3월 첫째주 LSE 또는 다른 시험센터에서 진행된다.

From September 2020, The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) has agreed to consider applications^ from students studying the Foundation programme at Bellerbys College to selected degree programmes for progression in September 2021.
LSE is ranked 2nd in the world for Social Sciences and Management (QS World University Rankings 2019), and over 50% of research is graded ‘world leading’ by the 2014 Research Excellence Framework exercise. Places to study are extremely competitive, with over 20,000 applications made in 2017 for just 1,600 places, and there are over 148 different countries represented by the student body.
Your students can apply to study the below degree programmes:
Students at Bellerbys who wish to apply to study at LSE must complete Pure Maths 1 and 2 in addition to their core Foundation modules*. Typically LSE require students to achieve at least 75% overall in their Foundation Programme with at least 70% in each of the Pure Maths modules^.
*September start Foundation only. Bellerbys Engineering Foundation subject pathway includes Pure Maths 1 and 2 within the core modules so will not require further study.
^LSE reserve the right to ask for higher grades, or to reject at application stage at their discretion. These are highly competitive programmes and there is no guarantee that students will receive a conditional offer.
